Savannah Tree Foundation is celebrating Georgia Arbor Day with a bike ride past many of the STF urban forestry sites. Join STF members, friends and the Savannah Bicycle Campaign urban riding experts on a pleasant Saturday morning ride. Start in Daffin Park by the Leisure Services office, next to the playgrounds, at 10:00 a.m. and pedal past tree planting sites on the Hospital Access Road, in Magnolia Park and at Savannah State. Learn the best, safest and shadiest routes to navigate around town on your bicycle. The route is approximately 10 miles. Riders should wear a helmet. See the route we’ll ride here.
If riding is not of interest, plant a tree this weekend!
